Fill in flash is flash that you do when your camera "thinks" it doesn't need any light. What fill in flash does is that when you take a picture outside and you have shadows in your face or body the flash makes does dark shadows get a little more light, which makes the picture clear. The first two are great examples of fill in flash! the first one is using fill in flash and the second one is without fill in flash.
